CYS-AZ01 was a 652 acre ALTA topographic project in which RMLP was to acquire aerial LiDAR and concurrent aerial nadir imagery. The LiDAR data was collected at a nominal average of 221 PPSM and the nadir aerial imagery was collected at <3cm GSD. The deliverables for this project included; A Calibrated, registered, RGB colorized and ground classified point cloud (LAS 1.4), AutoDesk Civil 3D drawing with bare earth ground model, 3D breaklines and 2D plannimetrics, High resolution aerial orthomosaic (.ECW), and detailed accuracy reports.
The STSM Laramie ALTA project was about 30 acres in size. Rocky Mountain's scope consisted of LiDAR and nadir aerial imagery collection to produce a bare earth ground model and geo-rectified orthomosaic. The LiDAR data was collected at a nominal average of 301 PPSM and the nadir aerial imagery was collected at <3cm GSD. The deliverables for this project included; A Calibrated, registered, RGB colorized and ground classified point cloud (LAS 1.4), AutoDesk Civil 3D drawing with bare earth ground model, 3D breaklines and 2D plannimetrics, High resolution aerial orthomosaic (.ECW), and detailed accuracy reports.
Rocky Mountain LiDAR Professionals was hired by a survey firm to fly a preliminary design ALTA for 2 future solar farms sites totalling 20 acres in size. This project adheird to ASPRS quality level 0 standards and included many challeges as it sat adjacnt to a power station, and in close proximity to the Pueblo Memorial Airport. Our professional flight crew adapted, and adjusted their acquisition mission planning to adheir to the 100' maximum ceiling flight height granted by the FAA. The end result was an incredibly detailed point cloud and orthomosaic that yealded tight RMSE both verticly and horizontally. The LiDAR data was collected at a nominal average of 488 PPSM and the nadir imagery was collected at <2cm GSD. The deliverables for this project included; A Calibrated, registered, RGB colorized and ground classified point cloud (LAS 1.4), AutoDesk Civil 3D drawing with bare earth ground model, 3D breaklines and 2D plannimetrics, High resolution aerial orthomosaic (.ECW), and detailed accuracy reports.
At Rocky Mountain LiDAR Professionals, we are passionate about capturing breathtaking aerial data and footage that tells a story. Our team was asked to model the storied Talking Rocks in Southwestern Wyoming for Geological support. Rocky Mountain used a combination of aerial LiDAR, aerial photogrammetry and terrestrial photogrammetry to create a highly detailed and precise model of the approximately 315 acre site. The deliverables for this project included; A high resolution aerial orthomosaic (.tif), RGB colorized and ground classified point cloud (LAS 1.4) and and 3D object file (.obj).
